Spring Book Fair
The spring book fair will be held on Thursday, March 27 & Friday, March 28. NEW!! We will also be open during parent teacher conferences on the evening of March 27, 5-8pm. Please note: no children will be allowed in the library without their parents during the evening portion. The preferred way of payment will be eWallet. We will also be accepting cash and checks payable to Walt Whitman PTA. Volunteer signups are open.

Wellness Month

March is Wellness month! We will have lots of fun, little things going on throughout the school to recognize both physical and mental health wellness for our kids. There will be in-class activities as well as morning announcements from Mr. Snyder highlighting interesting healthy fun facts and tips.
A wellness challenge calendar is posted in the cafeteria in addition to a flyer listing healthy snack tips. Feel free to join in the fun!

Hi Everyone, Please join us for our PTA Annual Business meeting on March 4th at 7:30pm at the Walt Whitman Elementary School. If you have anything specific that you would like answered during the meeting, we ask that you send us an email in advance by 5pm March 3rd, to presidents@waltwhitmanpta.org. This helps ensure our meeting will proceed smoothly and any information needed in advance is available to help answer your questions or concerns. Please see the attached agenda, and visit our website for more information including previous meeting minutes and budget. As with any meeting it is important to continue to exercise respect and civility. A gentle reminder that absolutely no individual teachers, staff, parents or children’s names can be mentioned during our meeting. Bring your own water bottle, a blanket or crazy creek chair and wear PJs.
