PTA Meeting

Join us for our 1st PTA meeting of the year!

Please join us for our next PTA meeting on September 5th at 7:30pm at the Walt Whitman Elementary School.  In order to accommodate for all our amazing parents we will be having a rotating schedule of day time and evening meetings.

For those that are new to Walt Whitman our meetings serve as a great place to get updates, help advocate for our school, and not to mention, Mr. Snyder is always here to answer our questions and concerns!!

Please note if you have anything specific that you would like answered during the meeting, we ask that you send us an email in advance by 5pm Wednesday,  September 4th, to presidents@waltwhitmanpta.org. This helps ensure our meeting will proceed smoothly and any information needed in advance is available to help answer your questions or concerns.

As with any meeting it is important to continue to exercise respect and civility.  A gentle reminder that absolutely no individual teachers, staff, parents or children’s names can be mentioned during our meeting. Individual conversations should take place with the teacher or principal in a one on one format.

Incoming Kindergarten Play Date!

August 24, 2024 from 10 -11am

at the Walt Whitman Elementary School Primary Grades Playground

We would like to invite all our incoming kindergarteners to come and play. This is a great chance for your children to meet new friends and become acquainted with each other in a causal, no-pressure setting before the 1st days of school. You may also get to hang out other parents and Mr. Snyder, our principal.

We hope to see you at the play date and look forward to meeting you and your children. If you have any questions over the summer feel free to reach out to us at any time.

Field Day Lunch Orders

Field Day 2024 will be Tuesday, June 11th, (rain date 6/14) and it will be including lunch! Please fill out this form to place your child’s food order.  Please note due to allergy safety concerns, you must fill out this form for your child to receive food. All orders must be received by May 28th.
